The mission of W.O.W. is to bring together women to enhance and expand their personal, spiritual, business and economic potential to better themselves and their communities.
About Gloria B. Conley
A native of Nashville, pursued her studies in Political Science/English while attending Fisk University in 1982. A graduate of University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (July 2010); and an MBA with emphasis on Global Business Management from the University of Phoenix (May 2012). She has two brothers and one sister, all in the ministry. Married to Alan Whitt, the mother of three and a daughter by marriage, grandmother of one and a grandson by marriage.
Gloria is a member of Cathedral of Praise, where Bishop Jerry L. Maynard, Sr. is her Pastor. Formerly served as President of the Women In Action Executive Hospitality for Bishop and First Lady Dr. Mary T. Maynard from 1997 to 2008; Appointed in January 2010, by her Pastor as the Director of the Single Parent Ministry. Presently, she and her husband are the Coordinators of the International Ministry.
Community
In her community, she served as a Girl Scout Troop Leader 2008-2009 for Born Again Christian Academy. In 2010, she was appointed the State Facilitator for the Sixth Region Diaspora Caucus (SRDC) where she currently presides. She has volunteered with various organizations from feeding the homeless at the Mission, speaking with the Women affiliated with the Mission, and currently is a supporter of the American Heart Association.
Entrepreneur
Entrepreneurial spirit has always been a part of her life; she owned and operated Rocci’ Men’s Consignment Shop from 2003 to 2005 for men, where she and her mother enjoyed working together. God has definitely placed ministry within her heart-- the ministry of servitude of National Economic Relief Foundation (N.E.R.F.) was birth in May 2010 to create an organization not only to assist those in the May 2nd flood of Nashville, but an ongoing organization that will be able to assist the needs of families during crisis.
She is the President and CEO of The E.S.T.H.E.R. Institute, Inc. a newly established entity that was birthed (July 2006); which is still being nurtured by God with connections and future projects underway.
She is the Founder and CEO of SheShe Tours, a newly established entity that was birthed (April 2019); which is still being nurtured by God with connections and future projects underway.
Currently, she is the President/Co-Owner/Travel Specialist of Allure Quest Travel Experience, LLC, with her husband who is the Founder/CEO.
Last, she enjoys exercising, traveling, tennis, pickleball games, golf, community activities, bowling, reading, writing in her spare time, but most of all spending meditation and quality time with God and her family.
